The Finance, Economics and Urban Department of the World Bank is seeking two Project Finance Specialists for its Finance and Guarantees unit, which is responsible for developing innovative financial solutions in order to mobilize private sector capital, especially for infrastructure projects. Both positions are 5 year renewable appointments located in Washington, DC.
*The Lead Financial Officer will originate, structure and promote financing for infrastructure investments, including PPP, and sovereign and sub-sovereign debt issuance with World Bank risk mitigation provisions.
* The Senior Infrastructure Finance Specialist will provide financial solutions in support of infrastructure and investment and debt issuance in various sectors and regions.
The candidates will have Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other relevant discipline, and 8-12 years of proven transaction experience.
